Our stop in San Francisco & Monterey was fabulous. If anybody is ever anywhere even close to San Francisco you must go to the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero and do two things. First, go to Gott's Roadside and stuff your face with Ahi Poke tacos and gazpacho. I meant to take a picture because I do weird things like take pictures of my food at restaurants, but I got to excited and inhaled it all before I had a chance to think about it. Number two is this, and it it is very important...go to Miette, just around the corner from Gott's. Order the Old-fashioned meringue cupcake, some macaroons and the mini scharffen berger cake. Say you are just going to eat one and save the rest for later so you don't look piggy....then just eat it all because it's freaking awesome.
Got to see the magnificent Athena Dolci (Ferguson) with Wes and Liam. What a cutie!

So, It was a wonderful few days on the coast with my family. I wish we got to spend some more time with them before we left, and I wish I weren't sick for most of it...but I am so glad for the time we were able to spend. Goodbye America!!
